I’m Kai Chin, an Orlando-based tattoo artist who’s been obsessed with anime, manga and Japanese pop-culture for as long as I can remember. I started tattooing because I kept seeing fans get pieces of characters they loved that didn’t actually look like them — flat color, off-model faces, lifeless line weight.
My studio in Central Florida is built around one thing: custom anime tattoos that fans of the source material immediately recognize and respect. Every piece is designed from scratch — no flash, no AI generations, no copy-paste templates.

We chat about composition, color vs black-and-grey, and how the piece will sit on your body. I draw a custom design from scratch.

Studio session
Get tattooed in a private, sterile Orlando studio. Sessions run 2–6 hours; large pieces are split across multiple sittings.

Aftercare & touch-up
You leave with detailed aftercare. A free touch-up is included to keep the piece sharp once it’s fully healed.

Do you tattoo any anime, or only certain series?
Pretty much any anime, manga or game IP — Naruto, Pokémon, Frieren, Fairy Tail, Attack on Titan, JJK, Demon Slayer, Persona, Final Fantasy, Zelda. If it’s drawn or animated, ask.
Color or black-and-grey — which holds up better?
Both age well when done right. Color anime pops harder visually; black-and-grey reads cleaner from a distance and is more forgiving over decades. Kai will recommend what suits the character and your skin.
How much do anime tattoos cost?
Pricing depends on size, color, and detail. Smaller single-character pieces typically start around the studio minimum; sleeves are quoted by session. Exact pricing is given after the design consultation.
Where is the studio?
I am an artist at SadFam tattoos, in East Orlando.
Do you take walk-ins?
No — every piece is custom-designed, so all bookings start with the inquiry form to make sure Kai has the time to draw your design properly.
Can I bring my own anime reference?
Please do. Screenshots, manga panels, fan art, key visuals — references make the design tighter. Kai always draws the final piece from scratch.
